- About
Art and Architecture are the foundation of my design projects. I have a vision with every project - to create divergent concepts, which bring narration to design. I began my education in architecture at Carleton University. This turned into furthering education at The European University of Madrid and Masters studies at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona. During my studies abroad and personal travels, I fuelled my passion in cultural arts, culinary and hospitality. My objective with design is to recreate feelings one may experience in a particular atmosphere abroad. I like to translate these vibes into local spaces to tell a story about art, food and the culture of design both inviting and innovative. My specialty with interior design falls heavily in hospitality. This was the foundation of my current design practice, Iron and Ivory, located in Ottawa, Toronto and London, England. We've completed projects across Canada, the US, Mexico and England including residential, retail, co-working and fitness. In addition to my business, I embarked on an opportunity to expand my knowledge in hospitality by joining The Design Agency. As an international design studio, I am based in London, UK working with our team in Barcelona on hotel projects across Europe. I plan to immerse myself in the European design culture as we continue to innovate, design and change the spaces we inhabit.
